The Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) announced Florida’s first statewide residential mitigation program, Elevate Florida. Qualified property owners may apply for federal and state-funded grants to elevate their property structures to reduce their risk of damage from natural disasters. The program is in the final stages of development and the application portal will open soon.
